Photography is quite literally in my blood. Some of my earliest memories include tagging along on camera trips with my father and grandfather, in and around Maryland. Armed only with a sketchpad, I was given the freedom to create…That sketchpad, soon led to my first blank canvas, which at age eleven led to an old camera and a roll of film. It was then that my fascination grew in the ability to capture life…a fraction of a second at a time.

Now, with over fifteen years of real world experience as a photographer, I still look forward to every day I get to spend behind the camera. Whether shooting for a newspaper on deadline, crouching next to a newborn fawn hiding in the tall grass, or capturing the love between a couple on their wedding day, I consider myself an artist with a camera and strive for my images to show people something they haven’t seen before even in the most common subjects.
